Abstract:
The purpose of this paper has been to reach knowledge about how politics were used by George Orwell through one of the most famous books he wrote: «Animal Farm», with its symbolism. To find this objective, first of all we have briefly explained the life and the political ideas of the author, George Orwell; in order to have and idea about the environment in which he wrote the book we are analysing.
What I have done is to explain the meaning of symbolism, but overall political symbolism, as it is the main point in the book; and like that be able to understand its function. I have looked for the most important examples of symbols showing a political meaning, as it seems to be just a farm but representing Russian Revolution.
Finally I sump up all we have explained before in the conclusion, in order to reach the main ideas that drove George Orwell to write this book and how good symbolism is expressed.
